TAKE A PEEK INSIDE OUR SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM!! 

​

Since summer of 2024 volunteers with Mamre Missions have packed and delivered over 4,500 bagged meals through our Student Summer Meal Delivery Program. Meals are packed and delivered out of Powdersville High School to students facing food insecurity within ALL of the Anderson District 1 schools in the upstate of SC! A huge thanks to Marvin's Produce, locally out of Simpsonville, for partnering with us to provide families access to fresh produce. We have incredible community partners along with local churches and businesses that help us provide a nutritious meal to students and their families and we couldn't do it without their dedication and heart! SUMMER MEALS and WHAT TO EXPECT in 2027:  ​​

  • Pack and deliver nutritious meals out of Powdersville High School to students across ASD1 every Friday morning

  • Meals are delivered directly to the doorstep of students in need- volunteers are slated to pack and deliver over 2,000 meals summer of 2027.

  • An example bagged lunch includes a deli sandwich, fresh fruits and veggies, breakfast bar, a bottle of water and much more.

  • Spiritual nourishment provided with each bagged lunch every week to help children learn about the love of Christ, their Creator!
